Just a short note to tell you how VERY happy we are with our Tarheel Canine German Shepherd. She came to us in June at just over a year old. We have had the joy and excitement of a puppy combined with the training of a much more mature dog. My father was a canine officer (when I was 7 years old, my dad would send me out to hide and then track me down with the dog!) and I’ve been around dogs of all sorts for my entire life. I just wanted to tell you that, based on a lifetime of experience with dogs, our Tarheel Canine GSD is one of the most well trained and well mannered dogs I have ever had the opportunity to work with. I am on the road, training police and military professionals almost, 300 days a year.
