Curry McRee (Instructor School Student) – All Out K-9, North Carolina

I have been a dog lover all my life and have always had pretty good success training my own dogs. During my time in the granite business I would break the ice with customers by bringing up their dogs and I would always end the conversation with, “I’d love to be able to make a living working with dogs”. Well, after leaving the business that I had been in for 13 years, I decided to follow my dream and become a trainer.
I was already aware of Tarheel Canine as, a couple of years earlier, I had looked into the school for my own enrichment. However, at the time I was informed by my employer that I would not be able to take a leave of absence. Once freed to build my own future, I again contacted Tarheel Canine and set up a visit. I then picked my course and anxiously awaited my start date. From that fist day of class to now I can say that I truly enjoy what I am now doing. The instructors at Tarheel Canine were all professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I noticed that the staff was very willing to work with each individuals schedule, and make allowances wherever possible. The instruction I received made me realize how little I truly knew about training dogs.
During my time at Tarheel Canine, I made what I feel will be life long friends that will be there to help me in any way they can. I am now looking forward to my follow up time there to see what else I can learn and to help improve my abilities in the new life that I am loving.

Sincerely, Curry McRee, All-Out K-9.
