Hosting a Seminar:

1. The hosting agency is responsible for providing a classroom facility with power-point projector and screen and ample seating for participants, outdoor training facilities, buildings, vehicles, and any other training equipment as required by the seminar instructor for the particular seminar being instructed.

2. The hosting agency can have 3 full participants attend for free, and an unlimited number of departmental observers attend free.

3. The hosting agency will help recruit outside agencies to participate so that there is a minimum of 12 paying attendees and a maximum of 18 total participants (observers are not counted)

4. Seminar fee is a flat $250/participant and $80/observer and these fees are inclusive of the instructors’ travel, hotel, and meals, so there are no further or hidden expenses to your department. In fact, if you can get all the facilities donated, your agency can arrange a seminar at no cost to your agency except the time to arrange it!
